Labor-Management Committees

In addition to basic team building skills, our training for labor-management committees is specifically designed to meet the needs of both labor and management.  It is a way for workers to have a voice in the workplace and on the issues that impact them.

Working on labor-management issues is different than addressing other problems. It requires different skills and approaches that recognize the interest of all parties. We include problem solving tools and techniques so each side can maintain their individual interests but solve problems together based on mutual interests using a cooperative approach.

CALMC has extensive experience in helping both private and public sector labor- management committees.  Our neutral standpoint and our ability to understand the opinions and concerns from both parties on the problems they are facing help our training to be successful.
