Barry Pickett Joins the CALMC Board
The CALMC Board of Trustees has selected Barry Pickett to join the Board of Tristees as a Community Trustee.
Barry works in the office of Columbus Mayor Andrew J. Ginther as the Building Trades Labor Liaison. He formerly served as a leader in the Sheet Metal Workers Local as well as the Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council. Barry brings his extensive knowledge of labor and the trades to benefit the city and its citizens.

The next Membership Meeting of the Columbus Area Labor-Management Committee has been scheduled for Wednesday May 2, 2018 at 8:00 AM. The meeting will be held at the Seafarers/Industrial Workers Union Hall, 2800 South High Street, in Columbus. Our featured presenter will be Cheryl Hay, Director of Talent Acquisition for JobsOhio.
Cheryl will be sharing information about the work of JobsOhio and how they help employers find qualified applicants to fill jobs in new and growing businesses.

New Board of Trustees Members Take Office
Recent changes in the Board of Trustees of CALMC have brought new members to the Board. The new members include Mark Tackett, Director of the Ohio Office of Collective Bargaining, John Dean, HR Manager of the Ohio Department of Commerce, and Barry Pickett, Building Trades Labor Liaison to the Office of Columbus Mayor Andrew J. Ginther.
Each of these new members brings a wealth of experience in labor-management relations and building a cooperative environment. We welcome them to the Board.
